I really don't know what this is supposed to be. It was done in a large sketchbook, using acrylic paints and coarse molding paste. Gerhard Richter does large scale, squeegee paintings on aluminum. This reminds me, slightly, of work of his that I've seen. Except that this is tiny by comparison. The coarse molding paste gives it a gritty feel.

Colorful,But What Is It?
